1. Introduction
Welcome to Marrakech Rent a Car. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
2. Eligibility
To rent a vehicle, you must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driving licence issued at least 2 years prior to the rental date. International driving licences are accepted. A valid passport or national identity card is required.
3. Booking & Payment
Bookings can be made via our website, WhatsApp, or by phone. A security deposit is required at the time of vehicle collection. We accept cash (MAD, EUR, USD, GBP) and all major credit cards. Prices are quoted per day and include VAT.
4. Vehicle Collection & Return
Vehicles must be collected and returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns will be charged at the daily rate pro-rated hourly. Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as collected, with the same fuel level.
5. Insurance & Liability
All rentals include comprehensive third-party insurance. The renter is liable for any damage, theft, or loss not covered by the insurance policy. Additional collision damage waiver (CDW) is available upon request.
6. Prohibited Uses
Vehicles may not be used for: racing or speed testing; transporting illegal goods; sub-renting to third parties; driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; off-road driving unless expressly permitted.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the rental start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before will forfeit the deposit. No-shows will be charged the full rental amount.
8. Force Majeure
Marrakech Rent a Car shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or acts of war.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Marrakech.
